The program you requested was not found in our database.
This doesn't necessarily mean you should remove this program. It just indicates it hasn't been
included in our database yet. We work hard to update our database with programs which are
requested and not found and new programs are added daily.
We now have a record that someone has requested information on
this program so we will do some research and update our records as quickly as possible.
As you might guess we do give priority to the more popular requests of the week.
We also work on those programs which may be considered dangerous before we add information on safe programs
or services which are commonly found.
If the program your looking at doesn't include a company name or version number we recommend caution.
If the filename is made up of random characters like PDQDLIXKF.DLL or WINKaghye.exe we
recommend you disable this program and reboot. If you have tried disabling the program and it keeps
returning see the trick at the bottom of this page.
If you have information about the program we don't yet have feel free to send it or a copy of the file to us at
We've also created the following search link in hopes it can still help in some way but we make
no claims to its accuracy.
Scotty Trick: Program returns after its been removed?
You may have found one of the nasty programs which come in pairs (or more). As soon as you
remove one program, another one working together will re-start it.
The place to begin is the list of Active Tasks.
First, exit all the applications that you know are active.
Click on Active Tasks and check to see what is still listed.
Most likely you'll need to select more than one task that looks suspicious, especially those with random looking file names.
Hold down the CTRL key and click to select/highlight multiple tasks and then click on the Kill Task button.
After you Kill the tasks that may be preventing its removal go to the Startup Program and IE Helpers screen and remove any references there.
Hopefully, you can reboot and no parasites will be running.
