Elf Bowling

(12/12/99)   The most popular bogus E-mail this week contains warnings for the program Elf Bowling. This is a cute litte promotional demo which someone may have sent you for the holidays. Contrary to reports this program does not contain a virus timed to explode on Christmas Day.

Keep in mind, it's still possible that any program sent to you could have been infected while on someone else's computer so continue to be careful. We don't recommend distribution of any program via E-mail. Just don't panic if you've been enjoying Elf Bowling or have forwarded a copy to your friends.
