HP Mobile Data Protection System 3D – ACCELEROMETERST.EXE

Accelerometerst.exe is the accelerometer system tray applet. An accelerometer is any device that measures acceleration. This file comes installed on HP Notebook computers. It places an icon in your system tray that can be used to access the 3D Accelerometer that installs with HP's Mobile Data Protection System 3D. This system features a 3-axis digital accelerometer, which can detect sudden movement in any direction. When the accelerometer senses movement, it alerts the system to temporarily stop the hard drive, actively protecting the drive and your valuable data from damage caused by drops, bumps, or other minor accidents.
