Ascent Capture – ACSVC.EXE

Acsvc.exe is the Ascent Capture Service. It installs with Ascent Capture by Kofax, a DICOM Group Company. Ascent Capture automates the capture of information from documents and forms, and delivers reliable, retrievable information into your business applications. This file doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time but it will need to be running when you capture screens. So if this is a utility that you use frequently, you may find it most convenient to let it run on system startup.
