Multiple Programs – ACT.OUTLOOK.SERVICE.EXE, ACT.EXE

Act.outlook.service.exe installs with Symantect ACT!, a popular personal information manager. This file integrates your phonebook, contact information, scheduler, and fax services with Microsoft Outlook. This file is optional. If you don't Outlook frequently, you may want to use WinPatrol to remove the file from your Startup Programs.

Act.exe installs with the Microsoft Application Center Test. This file is most commonly used by developers who are testing applications written in a Microsoft Programming language via Visual Studio or Visual Studio .NET. It also works with ASP.
