Apple iTunes Mobile Connection – APPLEMOBILEDEVICEHELPER.EXE
Applemobiledevicehelper.exe and applemobiledeviceservice.exe were added to iTunes 7.3 and and used to interface with Apple mobile devices like the iPhone/iTouch. Version 7.3 and later of iTunes is required to activate your iPhone/iTouch and to sync or update your iPhone/iTouch. So if you're an iPhone user, leave these files in place.
You'll find more information on the iPhone at http://www.apple.com/iphone/.

If you don't use the iPhone or iTouch, these files are not technically necessary. But some users report that iTunes won't run if these files are removed. If you opt to try getting rid of them, we'd recommend using 'disable' rather than 'remove' in WinPatrol. That way they can be easily reenabled if needed.
