Ashsnap.exe is the executable for SnapYa!, Magical Snap and Magical Snap 2 by Ashampoo. SnapYa! is a full featured screen capture utility. Magical Snap and Magical Snap 2 add editing features and special effects and offer a more streamlined user interface. This file doesn't need to be running all the time. The program can be launched manually via Start > Programs or by using the desktop icon when you want to take a snapshot of your screen.
