Ask.com Toolbar – ASKSERVICE.EXE

Files called askservice.exe, askbar.dll, askbar1.dll and ajbar0.dll install with the Ask Toolbar for Internet Explorer. This toolbar available from ask.com lets you search the web, your desktop or your email and personalize your search with saved locations, local news, etc. You can save web pages, images or searches and you can read the latest news with your toolbar.

Many have complained that this toolbar silently installs with other applications. If you find that you have it but don't want it; it can be uninstalled via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or the files could be disabled or removed from your Startup Programs, Services and IE Helpers using WinPatrol.
