AntiVir Mail Security - AVMAILC.EXE

Avmailc.exe is the AntiVir Mail Security Service. It installs with AntiVir Personal Edition Classic and Personal Edition Premium. It is required if you want Antivir to scan incoming and outgoing email. Since viruses often spread via attachments to email messages, we'd recommend leaving this file in place. This program is part of the AntiVir antivirus program. It sits in the background and scans for viruses and files are created, saved, renamed, or accessed in some manner.
