Avwebgrd.exe is the AntiVir WebGuard Service from Avira GmbH. WebGuard installs with Avira's Premium Security Suite. WebGuard protects all the HTTP based internet traffic. WebGuard scans incoming internet data to see if it is malware infected. Content that has been scanned and found clean is forwarded to the browser. WebGuard works with all internet browsers.
