Bitlocker Drive Encryption – BDESVC.DLL

Bdesvc.dll is a Microsoft service that hosts the BitLocker drive encryption service. BitLocker Drive Encryption provides secure startup for the operating system, as well as full volume encryption for fixed or removable drives. This service allows BitLocker to prompt you for various actions related to their drives when mounted, and unlocks drives automatically without user interaction. Additionally, it stores recovery information to Active Directory, if available. If you have Bitlocker encrypted drives, leave this file in place.
