P2P File sharing - BEARSHARE.EXE

BEARSHARE.EXE is the executable for the Point to point (or peer to peer) file sharing service of the same time. Like Napster and KaZaA, Bearshare lets you download copyrighted audio and video files as well as software.

This type of service can be plagued with viruses and is known to install the following spyware and adware programs: OnFlow, SaveNow, dlder.exe (advertising trojan), and New.net (NewDotNet). We'd strongly recommend removing this program. Unfortunately, uninstalling the program won't remove the spyware progarms. Use WinPatrol to look these up individually for removal instructions.
