Bitcomet Bittorrent Client – BITCOMET.EXE

Bitcomet.exe is a P2P file sharing service based on the BitTorrent protocol. BitTorrent was designed for transferring files. It is peer-to-peer in nature, as users connect to each other directly to send and receive portions of the file. However, there is a central server (called a tracker) which coordinates the action of all such peers.

BTDOWNLOADGUI.EXE is the BitTorrent Client. More info and a handy FAQ can be found at http://www.bitcomet.com/doc/faq.htm. As with all file sharing services, we'd urge caution. If you don't use this tool, it can be safely removed by WinPatrol or Start > Control Panel >Add/Remove programs.
