Brmfcwnd.exe is Brother Status Monitor. It installs with many of the Brother Scanners and Multifunction Print/Scan/Copy/Fax machines including: MFC-210C, MFC-410CN, MFC-420CN, MFC-620CN, DCP-110C, DCP-310CN, FAX-2440C, MFC-3240C, MFC-3340CN, MFC-5440CN, MFC-5840CN, FAX-1835C, FAX-1840C, and FAX-1940CN.

This file is notorious for taking up nearly all available system memory and/or resources. If this is happening on your system, consider using WinPatrol to remove this file. Your printer should still function as normal.
