Canon Camera Access Library – CALMAIN.EXE

Calmain.exe installs with the software and drivers for your Canon digital camera. It is the Canon Camera Access Library. This file runs on startup and can detect when your camera has been connected to your computer. It then launches your Canon Creative software. You'll find the latest software and drivers for your Canon camera at http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=DownloadIndexAct. Select "Digital Cameras" then select your make and model.

If you don't use the Canon software to transfer photos from your camera to your hard drive, you can get by without this file.
