Windows 7 Console Host – CONHOST.EXE

Conhost.exe will be found in your Windows\System32 folder. It's a new process that installs as part of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The conhost.exe process sitting in the middle between CSRSS and cmd.exe allows Windows 7 to fix problems in the Windows Console in previous versions of Windows.
