Acer Launch Manager – CTRLVOL.EXE

A file called ctrlvol.exe can be found on Acer Notebook Computers. It is part of the Acer Launch Manager and can be used to control the volume for the external speakers. You'll probably find this file in c:\Program Files\Launch Manager or c:\Programs\Acer\Launch Manager.
