Df.exe installs with Defraggler by Piriform, Ltd. When you save files to your hard drive, they aren't necessarily saved in one big hunk. Rather, they're saved in sections to fill in available space on your drive. When those files are needed, all the pieces have to be found and put back together. This can take time. A defragger puts the pieces together and resaves them to your hard drive thus speeding up access time. Defraggler differs from other defrag tools on the market, by enabling you to quickly and simply defrag the files you want to, without having to process the whole drive.
