Apple iTunes Mobile Device Connection – DISTNOTED.EXE

Distnoted.exe, applemobiledeviceservice.exe and applemobiledevicehelper.exe install with iTunes 7.3 or later and are used to interface with Apple mobile devices like the iPhone or iTouch. Version 7.3 of iTunes is required to activate your iPhone/iTouch and is needed to sync or update your iPhone/iTouch. So if you're an iPhone/iTouch user, you may want to leave these file in place.

If you don't use the iPhone/iTouch these files can be safely removed using WinPatrol or via Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.
