Dell Communication System – DLEECOMS.EXE

Files called dleecoms.exe and dleewbgw.exe install with your Dell V715W Printer. These files will be described as dlee_device. These files run as services and wll be found on Dell systems with Windows XP/Vista/7. They support the Dell Communications system that notifies you of updates. Some antivirus program may see these files as threats when they try to connect with Dell via the Internet.

Users report having successfully removed these files as long as Dell's NotifyAlert.exe is also disabled. If you opt to try this on your system, go to your Startup Programs, highlight the files then select "disable" rather than "remove". That way if problems develop, the files can be easily re-enabled.
