Acer eManager – EPOWERSVC.EXE

Epowersvc.exe will appear in your c:\Acer\Empowering Technology\ folder. This file comes installed on Acer Travelmate and other laptop computers. This software promises up to 20 percent more battery life over standard Microsoft Windows profiles, a range of intelligent power schemes, four pre-defined modes (Entertainment, Presentation, Word Processing, and Maximum Battery Life), and a battery usage alarm to ensure you never run out of power.
