TouchPad Drivers – ETDCTRL.EXE
Etddect.exe and etdctrl.exe install with the ELanTech touchpad as found on ASUS notebook computers. If you use the touchpad, leave these files in place. If you want to use a notebook mouse and you're having trouble getting it recognized, you can temporarily disable these files in your Startup Programs folder using WinPatrol. If you're having trouble installing an updated driver, it may be necessary to remove the existing version listed as ETDWare in Control Pantel > Add/Remove Programs.
