Evernote lets you store and quickly access typed and handwritten memos, webpage excerpts, emails, phone messages, addresses, passwords, brainstorms, sketches, and documents. More information can be found at http://www.evernote.com/en/products/evernote/.

This file doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time. It can be launched when needed via Start > Programs or using the desktop icon. If you want it available all the time, let it remain in your Startup Programs.
