Unattended Installation Services – FACTORYMODE

Factorymode is a setting in Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista used for unattended or remote installation services. This setting (generally in unattend.txt determines whether a file called factory.exe is run when a system is restarted for the first time. This is often used when deplying new software or a software upgrade by a computer retailer or a large organization. In most cases, rebooting your system should get rid of it.
