Freefall Protection – FF_PROTECTION.EXE

Ff_protection.exe is the executable for Freefall Protection, part of STMicroelectronics Accelerometer. This program comes installed on many laptop or notebook computers that have a gravity sensor (Samsung, Dell, etc). When Freefall thinks your laptop is falling, it parks and locks the hard drive to try and protect it and prevent data loss.
