FolderSize – FOLDERSIZESVC.EXE

Foldersizesvc.exe installs with FolderSize. This utility makes it possible for Windows Explorer to show you the sizes of folders and files in the same column. The new column shows not only the size of files, but also the size of folders. It keeps track of which folders you view, and scans them in the background so you can see complete size of all files within the folder More information can be found at http://foldersize.sourceforge.net/about.html.

If you want to see folder sizes in Windows Explorer, leave this file in place. This is a free open source program available through the SourceForge.net project.

Some users report system slowdown problems when this program is running. If this happens on your system, the program can be safely and completely removed via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
