Promise FastTrack Controller – FTUTIL2.DLL

Ftutil2.dll installs with the drivers for Promise FastTrak 571/519/579 IDE controller cards. These let you connect up to 4 hard drives. Promise does a lot of OEM business so their card may have come on your Dell or other computer system. You may see the file listed as "rundll32.exe ftutil2.dll,SetWriteCacheMode". Other files that are installed include Ftsata2.cat, ftsata2.inf, bb-run.sys, and ftsata2.sys.
