StopSign Antivirus – FWSERVICE.EXE

Fwservice.exe will be found in your c:\Program Files\Acceleration Software\StopSignProducts\Firewall folder. You may also see a file called ssfwmon.dll listed as "Rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files\Acceleration Software\StopSignProducts\Firewall\ssfwmon.dll", VerifyStatus. This is the firewall that installs with Stop Sign by eAcceleration. More information can be found at http://www.eacceleration.com/products/stopsign/.

According to Spyware Warrior, versions of this program that came out prior to 2003 had some bad press. Newer versions appear to be safe. More info can be found at http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#ss_note.
