Fax Service - FXSSVC.EXE

Fxssvc.exe is the Microsoft Fax Service. This service is available in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. This service is responsible for sending and receiving faxes. It also logs statistics about your faxing loads, archiving sent faxes, and configuration of your fax modem. By default, this service is set to "manual". It is known to use of system resources so if you never need fax services, we'd recommend disabling it.
