Google Toolbar – GOOGLETOOLBAR1.DLL

googletoolbar1.dll is a browser helper object that integrates a google web search toolbar into your Internet Explorer browser window. The toolbar appears just below the URL line and offers easy access to searching the web, images, newsgroups, and news. The more recent versions of the Google toolbar also includes a spell checker, translator, form filler, a popup blocker, and blog connectivity. We've found this to be one of the coolest and best browser helpers we've seen. Once you get used to this, it's hard to live without it. But if you do want to get rid of it, you can remove it via WinPatrol or you can go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs then remove "Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer".

This file may appear with slightly different filenames depending on the version you have installed.
