Garmin GStart – GSTART.EXE

Gstart.exe installs with the drivers and unit software for your Garmin GPS systems including the StreetPilot and Quest series. This program can be used to transfer files to your GPS unit and can check for Web updates. It can download maps, utilities and add-ons from the Garmin website. More information can be found at http://www.garmin.com/support/download.jsp. This file doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time.

Because this is a common name, it's possible that other programs may be using it.
