Hide.exe also installs with Novadigm's Enterprise Desktop Manager.`Novadigm has since been purchased by Hewlett Packard.

Hide.exe also installs with Hide from Darkpaws. Hide offers a quick way of hiding running batch files so that end uses cant see whats happening or they cant stop what needs to be done. You'll find more information at http://www.darkpaws.com/utilities/. As you might guess, this sort of file may have both legitimate and malicious uses.

Hide.exe installs with Hide It from Rokela Software of Russia. This program promises to clean up your desktop by letting you hide any windows not currently in use. At the time of this writing, the author's website (www.rokelasoft.com) was not available. The product may no longer be supported.

Because it is a common term, many other programs may install a file called hide.exe.
