HP Printer Updates – HPBDFAWEP.EXE

Hpbdfawep.exe and hpwuschd2.exe install with many HP printers including their line of LaserJet printers such as the P2015dn. You'll find hpdfawep.exe in your c:\Program Files\HP\Dfawep\bin\ folder. You may see it described as "HP Care Core". Hpwuschd2.exe checks for software updates that are quite rare. If you don't need troubleshooting and update services, you can disable these files using WinPatrol. If you opt to disable these files, you can check for updates to your HP Software and drivers at http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html.
