HP Photosmart Printer Update – HPHUPD05.EXE

HPHUPD04.EXE is an upgrade patch for HP Photosmart printers. You may find it in C:\Program Files\HP Photosmart 11\hphinstall\UniPatch\hphupd05.exe. This patch should not need to be running all the time. It should install the patch and then close. If you see it in your task list, the installation may not be complete. Try rebooting. If that doesn't do it, rerun the installer. Finally, try disabiling it va Winpatrol then test printer functionality. If you have a file called hphupd04.exe on your system, it's an earlier version of this same program. It can be removed.
