HP Printer Survey – HPQFRUCL.EXE

hpqfrucl.exe will appear in c:\hp\digital imaging\bin\ It is the HP FRU Client. It installs with many of the HP "All in one" PSC multifunction printers. The purpose of this file is to pop up a message asking you to take a servey regarding your HP printer. This survey collects data as to how you've used the printer. This information is then sent to HP.

After your printer has been installed for a while, this file is added as to your task scheduler as a daily event. That is how HP delivers the survey popup to you. In some cases, completing the survey may get this file out of task scheduler for a while but it could crop up again.
