HP Photo & Imaging – HPQWMI.EXE

Hpqwmi.exe is the HP WMI interface. You'll find the file in your c:\Program Files\hpq\shared\ folder. WMI stands for Windows Management Instrumentation, it's part of the Windows operating system that enables devices and systems in a network to be managed and controlled. We believe this file installs with your HP Photo and Imaging software. Some users report having successfully removed this file. If you opt to try removing it, please just disable it in your Startup Programs. That way if something stops working, it can be easily re-enabled.
