VMWare – HQTRAY.EXE

Hqtray.exe is the VMware Host Network Access Status tray appliation. VMware develops software that creates and manages virtual machines. These make it possible to spread computer functions across multiple systems that act as one. Their main programs include vManage, vPlatform and vTools. Other files that may appear on your system include the Vmnet DHCP service (vmnetdhcp.exe), Vmnat Service (vmnat.exe), Vmware tools service (VMwareService.exe), Vmware tools system tray (VMwareTray.exe), and Vmware GSX server (vmserverdwin32.exe).

If you use any of these programs, we'd recommend leaving these files in place. If you remove them, some parts of your virtual network or file system may disappear.
