Multiple Programs – IEHELPER.DLL

We found multiple programs using a file called iehelper.dll.

A file called iehelper.dll is a browser helper object that installs with Textware Bookcase. Textware is an electronic publishing service that makes reference materials online. With their software, readers can search not only a single book, but all books within a group called a "bookshelf". If you publish or read ebooks from this company, you'll want to leave this file in place. At the time of this writing, the author's website at http://www.textware.dk/bookcase.htm was unavailable. The product may not be supported.

A file called iehelper.dll is also a browser helper ojbect that installs with an adware program called URLBlaze. This is described as a peer to peer, distributed URL sharing service with its controlling server at http://www.urlblaze.com. Generally if you have this insance of iehelper.dll, another file called ubmon.dll will also appear on your system. We'd recommend using WinPatrol to remove both ubmon.dll and iehelper.dll. First, kill these files in your Active Tasks list then remove both if they appear in your startup programs.

Because iehelper.dll is a common name, it is possible that other progarms may be using it.
