Kies.exe, kieshelper.exe, kiestrayagent.exe, kiespdlr.exe and kiesupdate.exe install with Kies from SamSung. Kies syncs Captivate, Vibrant, Wave, SmartPhones and Galaxy S Android Tablet with your PC. You'll find more information at http://www.samsung.com/au/smartphone/wave/software-updates.html. You'll find the latest version of the Kies software at http://www.samsung.com/au/support/main/supportMain.do. These files will be running when you’re syncing your Samsung Device. They don’t necessarily need to be left running all the time.
