Primax Launcher – LAUNCHER.EXE

A startup item described as a ‘Primax Launcher’ is part of a driver for the following:
Primax 9600 USB Scanner Twain Launcher
Primax Colorado USB 19200 scanner
Primax 3D mouse
Webshots Desktop WallPaper and ScreenSaver. More info and a handy FAQ can be found at http://www.webshots.com/support/help/10966.html. Files called swatch.exe and webshotstray.exe (system tray icon) will also appear on your system. If you like this program, then leave these files in place.

While some problems are described with Windows 2000 systems, it is probably best to leave in place. More information and updated drivers can be found here.

It is important to remember that there are many applications (eg; Games, Wav players, Windows NT services) that use a file called "launcher.exe". If you aren’t sure which you have, leave it in place for now.
