Email Utility - MAILWASHER.EXE

MAILWASHER.EXE is the executable for Mail Washer Pro, an e-mail utility written by eCOSM of New Zealand. It claims to get rid of spsam and junkmail. It will bounce mail back to spammers making it look as though your address is invalid. It also offers protection from e-mail based viruses. If you want these mail protection services, this file will have to be running anytime you're connected to the Internet. If not, it can be removed by uninstalling from Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs. If you don't want it running but do want to keep it around, simply disable MAILWASHER.EXE using WinPatrol.
