Microsoft Common Language Runtime – MSCORSVW.EXE

Mscorsvw.exe is described as the "Microsoft Common Language Runtime Service Host". It doubles up as both the Common Language Runtime (CLR) Optimization Service and as the NGEN worker. This file should run when precompiling or managing applications and should then quit. Some users complain about this file using up 100% of their available CPU time. If you opt to try removing this file, please use WinPatrol to disable it in your Startup Programs. That way if functionality is lost, you can easily re-enable it.
