Microsoft Transactions Manager – MSDTCKRM.DLL

Msdtckrm.dll is the MS DTCOLE Transactions KTM Resource Manager DLL. Msdtcprx.dll is the MS DTCOLE Transactions interface proxy DLL. These files allow for distributed transaction processing in a clustered or distributed environment. They install with your Windows Operating System. They're also installed by applications such as the Microsoft’s Personal Web Server, or Microsoft SQL Server. They coordinate transactions that span multiple resource managers, such as databases, message queues, and file systems. If these files are removed, the transactions will not occur and any services that explicitly depend on them will fail to start.
