Office 2010 Document Cache – MSOSYNC.EXE, CHRONOS.LNK

Msosync.exe is the Microsoft Office Document Cache. It installs with Microsoft Office 2010. This new version of office caches your document for faster viewing. Whether it is a Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or a PowerPoint presentation, Office 2010 will cache the documents. You can kill the process under Active Tasks but it will be back as soon as Office caches another doucment. At the time of this writing, Microsoft 2010 was in beta test and can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx. The beta version will expire at the end of the test.
