NASNavigator Service – NASSVC.EXE

Nassvc.exe installs with NASNavigator, software that ships with the Linkstation and Terastation Network Aware Storage from Buffalo Technology. It is the executable running for the NAS PM Service, which sends those WOL packets to the NAS device for the Auto power feature. Some users complain that this service is a resource hog. If you run into heavy CPU usage, the manufacturer recommends restarting the service, and updating the NASNavigator software to the latest version.
