Nikon Camera Monitor – NKMC2.EXE

Nkmc2.exe and nkbmonitor.exe install with the Nikon Picture Project. This program comes with many popular Nikon digital cameras. It lets you organize, edit, enhance, convert or modify your photos. It includes a slideshow viewer and design templates.

Nkmc2.exe is the Nikon Message Center. Nkbmonitor.exe sits in the background waiting for your digital camera to be connected to your system. As soon as it's found, the Picture Project program launches and any photos on your camera are auto-loaded into the program. If you don't use or need the auto-detect and auto-load feature, this file can be removed using WinPatrol. Simply kill it under Active Tasks then remove it under Startup Programs.
