CD Burning Utility – NMSACCESSU.EXE

A file called nmsaccessu.exe by NewMedia Soft installs with the NMSAccess Service. It allows users on NT based systems to override CD/DVD security restrictions of previous versions. More information can be found at http://www.numediasoft.com/Products.htm.

Most commonly, we found this file referenced from a C:\Programme\CDBurnerXP Pro 3\Tools folder. In that instance, it installed with a free CD burner by Stefan Haglund, Fredrik Haglund, and Florian Schmitz of Sweden. More information can be found at http://www.cdburnerxp.se/.

Depending on your operating system and configuration, you may need to have this file running while burning CDs. If you do opt to remove it, we'd recommend temporarily disabling in your Startup Programs using WinPatrol. That way it can be easily re-enabled if problems arise.
