Multiple Programs – NSSERVICE.EXE

Nsservice.exe is the Microsoft SQL Server notification service. This service installs with SQL Server 2005. Notification Service is a platform for developing and deploying applications that generates and sends notifications. SQL Server Setup can install but will not configure Notification Services.
