nVidia System Tray Icon – NVMCTRAY.DLL

NVMCTRAY.DLL installs with many popular nVidia graphics cards. It places an icon in your system tray that offers quick access to display settings. If you find that you don't need to configure your display settings often, this file can be removed. You can get to these settings by right clicking your desktop, selecting Properties, then Settings.

You may also see this file as NVMCTRAY.DLL,NVTASKBARINIT. The NVTASKBARINIT switch also loads the nVidia Taskbar. Removing this entry will get rid of the both the system tray icon and the taskbar.
