Multiple Programs – PARTNER.DLL

Files called partner.dll and partner64.dll install with the Google Chrome browser. So if you've just installed Chrome and noticed these files, you can consider them safe.

Partner.dll and partner64.dll also install with Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.bdbm. This Trojan runs on system startup, can hijack processes, and can hide using Rootkit technology. Some variants can steal personal and banking information. You'll find more information at http://virus-com.com/viruscom/viruscom_121060.html and at http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/trojan-spy_w32_zbot.shtml.

We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First, kill them under Active Tasks then remove them from your IE Helpers. If using a recent version of WinPatrol, you can right click each file then select 'delete file on reboot'. Finally, reboot your system.
